Whisk Espresso Bar & Bake Shop

When they first opened, it was their macarons that initially got people visiting the little bake shop in Empire Subang. The shop is small, and their black and white floor tiles, Instagram-worthy, and somewhere between the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and the scintillating sight of homemade cakes in glass displays, lies an understated, well-executed bliss. And ever since then, people kept going back for more.
Emma K previously owned and ran a paper and stationery shop under the same name in Bangsar Village II, but decided to venture into the business of honest coffee and cakes with a few family members, and we’re glad she did! There's something humble yet refined about Whisk and its products. In addition to their outlet in Empire Subang, they have another outlet in 1Utama. As cosy as its predecessor, Whisk Outpost in 1Utama caters towards the busy office workers of the area, providing a little takeaway window for that fast cup of coffee to go. Of course, there’s always an array of desserts displayed right at the counter, just waiting for the ordering.
One of Whisk’s bestsellers since they first launched is their Granny Cake, a moist, tiered apple cake with layers of cream cheese and butterscotch. Then there’s the Pink Stack, a rose-flavored cake that boasts 5 layers of red hues stacked to create an ombre effect. Paired with a hot cup of latte, you’ve got the ideal teatime combination. And if you’re lucky enough to visit their shops on a day where chocolate tarts are being served, then grab a seat, order a cuppa, and indulge in every bite of that luxuriously rich tart; we won’t judge nor blame you for sneaking one home.
Whisk Espresso Bar and Bake Shop is located at LG03A Empire Shopping Gallery, and Whisk Outpost is located at G139 1 Utama Shopping Centre.
